Engineering Technician, Kent, Ohio: Perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies. Determine and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Assembling and fitting of fixtures and machine subassemblies. Modify, maintain, or repair electronics equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning. Set up, install, troubleshoot and repair of all models of Machinery automation Equipment. Replace defective components or parts, using hand tools and precision instruments. Testing and analysis of machines, tools and jigs. Requirements: Associates degree or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or related plus 24 months of experience as an Engineering technician in the Industrial or Manufacturing setting.
